I must admit that I was not a fan of this movie, but it did have its entertaining moments and funny scenes towards the end. The film lacked Jack's signature stupidity and charm, which were present in other Pirate movies. I disliked the plot, particularly the search for the Youth Fountain. As someone who has seen all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies except this one, I can confidently say that this installment was my least favorite.

The movie follows the usual pirate movie formula, with action, suspense, treasure, swords, enemies, friends, and lovers. While it was still a good movie, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The mermaids in the film did not receive much coverage of their chests, except for their hair, which is understandable given the PG-13 rating.

Romance plays a significant role in the movie, with a side plot involving a human and a mermaid who share a kiss. Towards the end, Angelica reveals that she is pregnant, but Jack doesn't remember due to his drunken state. The movie also features Jack and Angelica sharing a romantic moment on the ground.

One of the most disappointing aspects of this film was its lack of connection to the rest of the series. There was no continuity between At World's End and On Stranger Tides, and similarly, nothing carried over from this movie to Dead Man Tell No Tales. It felt like a standalone film that didn't contribute much to the overall story arc.

In conclusion, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is not my favorite movie in the series, but it did have some enjoyable moments. If you're looking for a pirate movie with action and adventure, this might be worth watching. However, if you're hoping for a deeper connection to the rest of the series, you might want to skip this installment.
